Impact Funds
Impact Overview
Rally Global Equities Impact Fund (RGEIF) and Rally Total Impact Fund (RTIF) (collectively, ‘Rally Funds’) both aim to invest in holdings that catalyze positive systemic changes that contribute to the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals and deliver positive outcomes for people and planet, while achieving a favourable risk-adjusted return for investors over the long term.
Rally Inclusive Impact Methodology (RIIM) is how we assess, measure and manage the impact generated through an investment strategy. RIIM includes impact assessment as well as measurement.
- RIIM Assessment covers a great number of data points and analysis to enable understanding of a product’s impact intention, as well as the depth, quality and context of its impact
- RIIM Measurement is the measurement of progress towards a product’s impact goals (and, by extension, a portfolio’s impact goals). RIIM enables us not only to measure impacts against targeted outcomes but also to aggregate and disclose these impacts coherently, including at a portfolio level, through the creation and tracking of key performance indicators (KPIs)
Impact assessment and measurement are equally valuable; assessment enables measurement. For example, we use KPIs to measure impact performance, but without earlier assessment we wouldn’t be able to determine a meaningful KPI in the first place or assess yearly results.
